Sustainability is at the heart of what we do here at Ridges Farm Flowers and we're committed to reducing our environmental impact whilst increasing biodiversity and encouraging wildlife.
Our ethos is 'grow local, sell local', which supports the values of many of the businesses and customers we work with.
Packaging
In the past, floristry as an industry has been known to use some environmentally questionable materials. We want to turn that around.
We have searched high and low, sourcing sustainable alternatives to traditional floristry materials, which allow us to deliver your flowers as beautifully wrapped and fresh as ever, whilst eliminating plastics and non-recyclable materials.
Our gift bouquet aquapacks are made from from wood pulp (not plastic!) and is home compostable and bio-degradable.
When we don't need to use additional materials - we don't! Because our bunches are transported in water, and delivered to your door to be put straight in a vase, we use a simple brown paper wrap. This can then be recycled or composted.
